msfledermausIt's early, I'm sleepy, but one thing makes me very pleased with myself...
Cow-irker Gail is reading my LJ today, methinks. I gave her the addy yesterday after I told her I mentioned her sometimes. (Well, why wouldn't I? How many evil criminal geniuses do you know personally who like you?) She's bored with tv, and wants something good to read. *rubs hands energetically*
...Once upon a time there was a nice Maus working in a pace stuffed with paintings and mummies and pretty jars and kimonos and whatnot. She had a very good friend, known as Gaily-Waily. Gaily-Waily was evil, spawn of the de-vil, and the Maus found this very exciting, even though she sold her soul to Gaily for a candy bar years ago...Gaily-Waily had a friend too, made of red and black yarn with evil yellow eyes named Mordred the Betrayer, who then spawned many, many evil little creatures hither and yon. All of these creatures had crocheted guts, with spleens and brains and unidentifiable blobby bits....all except Mordred. He had no guts at all. Not since Gail ripped out his bean-bag pouch the very first day he arrived. He doesn't hold a grudge. Not....really...
Gaily-Waily and the Maus were very brave once, sitting across a long table and battling the great many-headed Hydra of Management, and were so very brave that they won, which made the Hydra kind of crabby but oddly more respectful. Possibly the threat of wearing cheerful buttons with fruit on them and making up catchy folktunes to sing scared the Hydra more than it let on. Because deep inside, that monster knew, KNEW, that the Maus and Gaily-Waily and Sideburns Mike would do any fool thing that got in their little heads if it was dastardly enough until they got what they wanted...and it was true. Especially Gaily-Waily...
Now Gaily-Waily spends most of her time not terrorizing the Hydra of Management and being evil with painting wonderful scenes and offering them to people for lots and lots of money. I think most of the money is so she doesn't follow these people home and just pop up in their windows when they don't expect it, maybe at a dinner party or something, possibly wearing devil horns and cackling evilly. I know I'd give her money if she threatened to do that. Luckily for the Maus, she has fairly high windows, so Gaily Waily would need a ladder...
Anyway, they're friends to this very day...as long as the Maus keeps lots of body armor near by and remembers how to get out of a choke hold;)
Now the fun part is, she can't even respond here, as she has no LJ account...of course, she could fix that by getting one, and bother me all the time, even when I'm not working. Oh wait, she does that already! Heeheehee!
