Dreams of fluffiness...

today while I'm working at the Jade Mines I'm dreaming. Dreaming of pretty ways to put fluffy wool together for interesting yarn. I've been writing down the list in my little pocket calendar, which I'm happy to share with you...

Bathory: Red merino yarn with touches of black alpaca, black and red beads mixed in.
(I'm almost done with this one; strung the beads this morning.)

Neapolitan: White and brown merino wool, mixed with spirals of soft pink angora and pink threaded beads.

Halloween: Bright orange and yellow wool and alpaca with big shots of black eyelash yarn sprialed all through. Maybe some orange glittery thread I own.

Ocean: Blue and purple merino with big curls of white mohair and sparkly stuff...




Dammit, I want my spinning wheel with me now! Now now now! I'm not addicted! I'm not, I tellya!
*rocks back and forth, stifling whines*

The idea of naming a yarn after Elizabeth Bathory makes me lol. (Yes, I have a morbid sense of humor...but you probably knew that already.) :)

Me too...I had to, the yarn is elegant, with a bit of bling, yet blood-red and jet black. I'm very pleased with how it's coming along...

I also came up with two more:

Necrotic: Blacks, greys and greens, maybe with a shot of white for contrast.

Reliquary: Beige, greys, with silver thread and tiny silver beads.
