Okay, today was a mixed bag. It was low stress, but I think I'm coming down with something...just a little achy and fevery, and a bit sniffly. I was doing so well, hadn't had a cold in a while. Grump. I did feel better hanging out with Gail and the Neighbor Boys for a while, watching Carnivale and admiring their new temporary lodger, Alfred the Angora Bunny.

Turns out Alfred really likes me...he sat on my lap the whole time, sometimes bouncing up my torso to whuffle my nose. My resolve to not get a pet is weakening horribly when faced with so much rabbity cuteness. And I've been getting so much free angora to spin!! Cute Bunny Is Evil!!! Evil!!! And cute!! Peaty's already grinning and saying things like, "We can look after your rabbit when you're not home, you know!" "Bunny, Michelle! You know you can't live without one!" "You've got plenty of room in your living room!" I will smack his hand...I would have at the time, but there was a bunny on it...*sigh...*

Now I should go get some sleep and feel better. Yeah. Sleep good...

Alfred whuffles people! He hops up to their nose and whuffles and kind of tosses his ears in a sort of "Ain't I the cutest?" kind of way. Totally diabolical!!

Bunnies are inestimably cute, but they chew through electrical cords like nobody's business. If you get one, get used to transient failures in computers, appliances, et cetera.

I figured if I got a bunny I would definitely have to armor-plate any cords, or move them out of Bunny range, which can be tricky.
