Good thing: It's sunny out and stuff! Woohoo! I forgot what the sun looked like!
Bad thing: I have a head cold, so I'm staying in today. *snuffles kleenex*

Good thing: I took off today from work.
Bad thing: I had to feel achy and ill enough to get past my natural guilt-ridden conscience to do it. I always meeble and go, "Am I sick enough to stay home? Really? Really am I?" And then I throw up or something which spells it out for me nice and clear...

Good thing: I'm still in pajamas, and I love it.
Bad thing: I need to do laundry so I don't wear my pajamas to work tomorrow as the only option I have.

Good thing: I carded a bunch of Alfred angora into some merino and sparkly stuff to spin.
Bad thing: I'm kinda tired...I dunno what kind of energy I have for spinning today.

Good thing: I'm gonna take a huge nap soonish.
Bad thing: ....Nope, I got nothin', this is actually pretty cool...

I misread that and wondered why you would be carded by an angora. Like, you had to be 21 or something to hang with the goats.

You'd think I'd be old enough not to be carded by farm animals...but sheesh, they're so strict...

I'm glad you're home but sorry about the circumstances. If you DO wear pj's to work tomorrow, please take pictures for those of us who have no life. I would love to see. ;)

Feel better soon!

Some time back when I was still working at IRS we were in one of those spells when the agency down sized a LOT. At least they downsized the "helping taxpayers, giving information" part, which was us. Many people applied for lower paying jobs and stayed. Others were bumped.

One day we had a party (for everyone except the handfull of people who were in contact with the public at the info counter. It was "come dressed as the next job you have after you're laid off here." It was really good for the spirits. People wore all kinds of things. I came in pajamas, a robe, and slippers because if I had been laid off I was just going to retire. (I was eligible.)
