Dark and cold and quiet...

I really wish I didn't have to go to work today...it's bone-chillingly cold. Before I leave, I'll call workies just to make sure they're even open today. (They will be, almost certainly.)
I've broken out the big alpaca sweater, the one I wear when it's well below zero. I love you, alpaca sweater...*hugs it hard*

It doesn't help that I didn't sleep well...workies has been really weird lately, and it bothers me. And last night I got news that Liz is back in the hospital again. We're all really worried for her. I would like it very much if the doctors can just go for it and get Liz a cybernetic androidish body, with lots of new components and I dunno, maybe a laser cannon or something after they fix all the needful things...for what she's paying they can stick a sattelite dish on her or something while they're at it:(((

So that's where my head is today...

Not as much as they'd like, which is the frustrating part...we think it has to do with her heart, but there's tons of stuff they're trying to treat. She keeps getting blood clots too, because they keep having to stick her with things:((( The other day she went in because she had abdominal bleeding, which scares the pants off me...

She does, but it's through her scumbag soon to be ex-husband,and frankly is jerking her around is a large part of why she's this sick--stress on top of everything else. I just hope he'll keep the insurance on her for long enough to get her well again:(
