High winds and nightmares...
Dec. 29th, 2008 07:02 amThe wind is just ripping along the windows this morning...I think it had something to do with the kind of dreams I had last night...
Last night I went to bed pretty early; I had a bit of a headache. (I sometimes leave the Jade Mine with headaches...I think the ventilation has something to do with it.) I had a very cosy time reading "American Gods" until I was sleepy, then conked out. But all night long I had terrible nightmares. Part one was a bunch of friends of mine holing up in an attic Anne-Frank style, with food and weapons and whatnot, while zombie hordes moaned outside.
Part two was trying to get across a large public square, with some smiling sociopath trying to get me to dance with him while he brandished knives. (There were zombies here too, as well. Always with the zombies,Ms Maus!) Part three was zombies in the workplace...that'll make my workday much more interesting this morning...
Anyway, for the second nightmare it took me a while to get back to sleep, it was so scary. I burrowed into the blankets and kept telling myself that all was well, no scary guy with knives was running around...
Funny thing? I feel rested...
