msfledermausThe best thing in the world for the winter blues? Tacos!!
Ben and Peaty had Tacofest last night--they invited a bunch of us over for dinner, and we helped decimate Ben's homemade sour cream. (I may not have mentioned this, but Ben is a secret dairy god. Shhhh, don't tell, it's a secret!) We all had a great time singing various taco songs and just catching up. Alfred the Bunny was out, and I swear, that bunny is humongous--perhaps it's just in comparison to my pocket-sized Shamu, but Alfred is the size and shape of a small coffee table. Eve the snake was also brought out--she's roughly the size of a good necklace, and so far has been pretty docile. The menagerie keeps growing and changing over at the Neighbor's house:)
I begged off after about 11, and toddled off to bed. I could use more sleep, actually...but it's so good to have social stuff too, especially in the depths of winter when it's harder to do.
