Today at the Jade Mines is very busy...it's the last day of our bit exhibition, and there are tons of people. We're feeling a little stressed. I just got done with an agressive patron going after one of our casual guards. The patron was swearing and threatening, and I had to call the captain to get him to leave the guard alone. It's good to get away from all the hurly-burly for a minute...

At least this weekend was really good. I lazed around, and watched tons of Cowboy Bebop. (BTW, the whole Keanu Reeves playing Spike in the live-action movie they're planning? One word: Lame.) I also had a happy freaky melt-down in the Fiber Source, where there was amazing amounds of roving. It was one of those wonderful kid-in-a-candy-store feelings, and I came away with lots of roving for a suprisingly cheap pricetag. I knit for ages. I went on a great adventure looking for cupcakes. (We failed, but it was a good try.) I played with Shamu, who now head-butts my ankles so I'll pet him...

So that helps my attitude immensely...and if that guy comes back, I'll just poke him with the wee knitting needles I brought with me today...

Yeah, I can't believe they're letting Keanu play Spike. WTF? That's so not SMART. They want to make money of this movie, yes? Who, in your opinion, would make a good Spike? I'm still thinking of who would be a good option, but I'm drawing a blank.

I think they'd have to do a casting call...perhaps Robert Patterson? Never mind he's locked into the Twilight movies for the next million years...but the guy who played Wolverine would make an *awesome* Jet Black...

Oooh yes, Robert would make a very good Spike, but yeah...

Hugh Jackman as Jet Black?! That would be the making of awesome sauce, right thar. XDDDD

I can think of a small handful of people who would do a good Fay Valentine, but the one that stumps me is, who's gonna play Radical Edward? I got nuthin'.

This movie is bound to be awesomely bad. XD
