The storm is still poofing down it's fluffy white payload of doom...I made it home okay, but John the Neighbor and I decided there was no use shoveling tonight; we'd try it in the morning. So after a brief but rewarding bit of cleaning and bunny-nurturing, I'm holed up, snowbound and cosy with a cup of tea...
It's still snowing and ratting the windows something fierce. So fierce, in fact, that I may have Gaily-Waily on my couch tonight if she can't make it home through the clogged streets. She's calling me later to update me--if she thinks she can make it home, she'll go for it. If not, I fluff up the extra pillows and make Shamu share the pillows. What really sucks is that Gail has to work tomorrow and I don't...with any luck, maybe the Jade Mines will call tomorrow off, who knows?
So there we are...
