Career stuff...
Jul. 6th, 2001 10:29 amI'm thinking of applying for the Jerome grant this year. I qualify, it's $9'000, (which would buy a LOT of art supplies) and it's as good a way as any to learn how to deal with grants.
Ms Eff...how much is that in glitter and sno-cones?

Date: 2001-07-06 12:33 pm (UTC)That and the proceeds from the sale of your art, which you could then create full-time, might be enough to live on. And you'd have more time to look for a real job.
Go for it, dammit!

it would be nice to afford a little more room--half of my pay goes to my apartment.:(
(and you've seen how tiny that is...and right now that's about as good as it gets in this rental market, so moving out isn't a solution, either.) and maybe take a sabbatical, look for other work, paint, live that Starving Artist life without the Starving part...:)
Ms Eff. um, thanks...
