I'm feeling optimistic, weather-wise...

I just put my windowbox outside. It's full of mint plants that just wouldn't die over the winter, and some rugged garlic chives. There's also Taquito, the undead pepper plant, who is roughly 200 in pepper-plant years, and is looking mighty bedraggled. Will he make it? Will they get coated in frost? Will they perk up now they're getting some real sun?...

It's a bit early for this sort of thing but sometimes in gardening, as in life, one must say, "What the hell..."

It took me a long time to understand that Taquito was the name of a pepper plant. Possibly because I was secretly hoping you had a taquito plant.

Nope, it's just the name that stuck to my chinese pepper plant...he wanted to be called Taquito, and who am I to argue with houseplants?
