I'm getting the house together a little for a get-together tonight. It'll be good fun, and we can show off the goats. The goats? The goats!!

Vera the Goat is back, on a week-long permit while she schmoozes people to help Peaty get her paperwork permanent. And she has a tiny, five-day old goatlett, a kid we've named Yeti for her white fuzzy hair. Pictures to follow, very soon...

But if you'd like something to hold you until then, here's a good shot I took of some of the eggs, fresh from the chicken coop:




The Neighbor Boys are also getting...*sigh* meat rabbits. I'm going to get all sappy and gooey-eyed, I just know it. Good thing Ben the Neighbor is an excellent husband to Peaty, and hasn't kicked him out for goats AND rabbits at the same time...
