Paint still under the nails...:)
Jul. 11th, 2001 09:06 amI went home, made dinner and painted for about 4 hours straight before bed. I finished the giant postcard for the A-Z gallery mail-in show, and finished all the stones...so they're going out today!!! Yaaaaay! Expect them to come by Monday at the latest.
..and of course as long as I was goofing around with paints, I got my toenails...red glitter. (wiggles sandalled toes.)
It's funny about the giant postcard--it started out as something mysterious, spooky and funny, and somehow segued into this complicated metaphor of lost love, with small torn bits of paper swirling around the skeleton figure with words about relationships written on them as small as I could write It's still a bit busy, so I have to tweak it before I show it tonight at Gus's and send it tomorrow. (For the sadness, I blame a mixture of Cocteau Twins, Dead can Dance, and reading about Dian Fossey. Angst, angst, baby!!!)
Ms Eff, who scrubbed paint out of her hair and her face and her arms last night...I uhh, get into the work:)

Date: 2001-07-11 08:32 am (UTC)Well... *some* of us enjoy them.
Well... one of us, anyway.
And I'm not sure that "us" is a very good word to describe the person. But then I guess the Princessa does speak of herself in the plural third person sometimes.
