Today is That Sort of Day...I get more annoyed before 8 am than most people get all day...

I was trying really hard to get some real sleep last night, and my phone wouldn't stop going off, mostly with co-op stuff. Then this morning I was doing bills, something which is never soothing, and Qwest sent me a new one, even though I shut off my land line nearly 3 months ago, for crappy customer service and overcharging me over and over for services they never gave me. By the time I finished the third try for paying the bill over the phone, I had the Grumps nice and set up for the morning. The bus was loud, one little kid was continually shrieking in my ear. We've got lots of sick calls in the Jade mines. And I neeeeeed a vacation so badly...

I applied for a vacation in September. I hope I get it okayed:/

Why not use the BBB/Attorney General on Qwest? You maybe even could get back a sweet pile of cash on the services they never delivered.

Can I even do that? I'm pretty used to the Powers that Be just going, "Eh. Whatever." when you point out that a corporation is jacking you around... I know qwest has a bad rep anyway, so they're probably already being sued for a wide variety of weirdness...

I'll look into it, but I'm not hopeful...

Bastids. Are they still charging you now? And they're so keen on getting what they want from their customers, but when you ask/tell/demand for them to deliver the goods you just end up hearing the crickets...
