Things seem to be perking up lately. The Jade Mines put up an SPO position in my department that I can apply for without making a hash out of the rest of my life. *crosses fingers*

Also, my yarn on Etsy seems to be getting some good attention. People I don't know have picked me twice this week for their treasuries, which is a good feeling. I just put up the last skein of my current batch of Gothic Candycane since it's the black, white and red yarn that's really getting people's attention...

Plus, with Fleur's rainbow gut-yarn stash, I have many, many gutmonsters to make...and lots and lots of guts!!

(I think the upshot here is: If I don't get the promotion, I don't need it to make me feel like a worthy person. I have yarn to do that for me:)

I love my monster SO much. He is sitting in the laptop with me. I think he might need a name .. but when I try to think of something the words Bolivian Marching Powder come into my head and I start giggling and then everything's gone.

We can call him Mr.B.M. Powder...very officious sounding name, really. Or just name him Bolivian, Boli for short? *snicker*

I can't help it, he just looked so cracked-out when I finished knitting him...He can be like Keith Richards, telling kids Not To Do Drugs! I'd listen if I was a child...and possibly wet myself.
