A short list of vacation-related things...

After a few days of this vacation thing, I'm definitely feeling more relaxed. I needed this very, very badly. I haven't been online much, though, which I've been missing. so now I've got a little bit of time between things I'll catch everybody up...

I enjoyed seeing Matt's brother and sister-in-law very much. We went all over the place, including the State Fair, where they got to try fried cheese-curds for the first time. Hehhehheh...

I've been plowing through a bunch of knitting projects...one of which I'm trading to Peaty for 3 dressed chickens in the freezer. Barter is a strange, strange thing, you guys...

I've spent too much money, which happens on vacation. For a change, it's all been going to useful things...

I've spent most of this afternoon with Matt and the Liz. When she left for home, she left all her macaroons behind. And her Fredricks of Hollywood catalog. Hmmm...this *means* something!!

I've eaten like a queen. Like a hungry, greedy queen. With a fridge full of vegetables, even...

Shamu is in better spirits now that it's a bit cooler out. He was a grumpy, grumpy bunny when it was so hot and humid. Poor thing. *pat pat pat pat pat*


Anyway, the upshot is, I feel so much less grumpy myself now that I've had some good time off. And I'm not even finished with my vacation yet:)
