I've been fighting some kind of virus for about a week or so. It finally got it's hooks into me, with some coughing and dizzy fevers and such. I called in sick today...
*looks out the window at the pouring rain*

At least this isn't a bad day for staying inside. Where was all this rain in the summer, hah?
Humph...

So I think tea and blankets and movies and Bunneh-pets are the order of the day...

There's no "n" in "tea"... Just like there's no "p" in my coffee (unless kitty took a leak whilst I wasn't looking)...

There's a type of currant tea that we like that has a very very faint cat pee-like odor. It seems to be a consistent between batches and with different suppliers, so it must be a natural product secreted by the tea plants to protect them from mouse nibbles

It could be that the tea is very acidic? Currants can be a little acidy sometimes, especially when they're dried. Hmmmm...

I don't doubt it... In that case, it can't be real cat pee odor, becasue acid neutralizes teh compounds that make the pee smell. I feel oddly reassured ;^) *Thanks*

They say the valerian root smells like cat urine. My cat is very attracted to the smell of it. Valerian is used to soothe nerves.

ah, nothing like tea and blankets and movies - really romantic ones, that make you cry in the middle and end up happily ever after (Random Harvest with Ronald Coleman and Greer Garson come to mind). Sigh.

And bunneh-pets.
