msfledermausSorry I haven't been posting much lately--I've just been so busy with lots of little things. Laundry, cleaning up, shovelling...*grumble*
Yesterday I bought a shovel downtown and lugged it with me onto the bus. There's something about a shovel on a bus that sends out a beautiful beacon of light to crazy guys, saying, "This is a lady who is understanding and approachable, and may even shovel your walk!" Luckily I sprung for the steel-reinforced one, because I had to mock-threaten to whack someone with it who wouldn't shut up about it.
I've also been knitting a hood-scarf for an aquaintance, and spinning something special for the Foot in the Door show at the Jade Mines this week: Voila!
It's not quite done; I want to add another head at least. I call it, "Miss Habetrot's Spinning Class Has A Horrible Accident..."
