Because there was a seven course dinner with entertainment in between courses. I played the cowbell and did not, in fact, bring shame upon myself. The bride's entrance music turned out to be "Punk Rock Girl" by the Dead Milkmen, and the vows were an updated version of, "The Cat in the Hat" and "Oh, The Places You'll Go." There was a pinky-swear. There was a tiny mosh-pit to cool jazz. (I may have been the instigator. Heh.)
And here I am, getting ready for work. I am truly a madwoman. But a madwoman who went to the Best Wedding Ever...
