Happy Summer Solstice!
Jun. 21st, 2010 05:49 amI think one of my new favorite ways to enjoy the solstice is by eating fresh strawberries from the garden with breakfast. I picked them last night...how cool is that?
And Gaily-Waily and I planted one of her rosebushes out by the corner of the Maushaus. We were celebrating both of us stepping down from being Union stewards. (Well, Gail first, and then me in a month or so.) What better way to celebrate a break than with mud pies and a shovel? That sounded...fairly ominous:)
so, there you are...

Date: 2010-06-21 11:24 pm (UTC)There was definitely wibbling at work, with a chilling extra bit I didn't expect...we have artwork left over after the deadline. Lots of artwork. So people will be giving us eeeeevil all week long, trying to get their stuff after the deadline. I have no idea how that department plans to cope. Meanwhile, I have a four-day weekend coming up for me, and I will take brutal advantage of it:)
