Feeling better...
Jul. 16th, 2010 04:12 pmI'm very happy to be feeling better. Yesterday I went to the Mines for a long workday, and wore myself out a bit. But today I feel like I'm catching up. It helped that I went to La chaya for lunch and had their awesome tomatillo soup. I have to try making a version at some sometime...
Otherwise, things are doing surprisingly well. I have another Union steward lined up for August, so Gail and I can take a break from it all. More yarn keeps going to Kansas and Australia, with a little bit of barter here and there. I'm taking a nice vacation in November. And once I get past all the hot, muggy stuff in July, the best part of summer will be waiting for me...
And to speed that process along, I'm tempted to take a giant nap.

Date: 2010-07-17 01:23 am (UTC)I was at someone's house the other day and a bunch of women were talking about knitting-- got out the doodads and taught me a bit, even! I thought of you, mentioned you and your yarn, and I'm sending them to your Etsy shop, just in case they find a need. Your yarn's so purdy. :)
