Tonight I had a really good time teaching my cow-irker Meghan to spin. Now that she's had a couple of lessons, she's definitely coming along nicely. I've got her spinning with a drop-spindle and my wheel Hester, taught her the basics of carding, washing and what different fibers do, and next time we'll start with two-plying and various textures.

It's gratifying to be able to teach someone else. I hadn't really realized how much there was to spinning until I started breaking things down for Meghan. I've come a long way, bebeh...
