I have been ever so good this year. Even when it was very difficult to stay good, I did my best. I kept the name-calling to a bare minimum, and didn't set one single person on fire. So I humbly give you my wish list for the holidays...
--Enough time to do all the fun stuff and get the nagging projects done. I know I keep asking. This is also a very common request. All I ask is that you do what you can for me there. I know I can count on you...
--A house-elf. If I had a house-elf, I would treat him or her really well, and pay them and knit them tea-cosy hats. I promise they wouldn't have to live in the bunny-hutch. And with someone keeping up with the laundry when I'm not home, I'd have that free time I've been asking for for years...
--a really good security system, with whoops and beeps and horrible growls from the Pits of Pit-ness if anyone tries to break in. I'm talking noises like Beelzebub with really bad indigestion. I'm sure there's something along those lines in that big old bag for me...
--A new snow shovel.
--A marshmallow pop-gun, modified for use by very small rabbits. Shamu is a lousy typist, so I had to help him out a little here. He would also like more papayas, and to be let into the Very Special Room he's not allowed in, because you know it's just the best to play under the bed...
--But most of all, I would really like a section of time where my loved ones don't have to worry about anything, fix anything, protect anything, etcetra...just some time to breathe and be okay...
I have cookies and your mug full of Kraken, ready for your arrival Friday night. Be careful out there, sir, and thank you for keeping me in mind...Love, Ms Maus...
