*Piling warm things on my head*
Jan. 19th, 2011 07:50 amWe seemed to have reached the Coldest Week of the Year...now with more cold. I am bundled up in various warm things I knitted myself. Shamu the Bunneh has a lovely warm coat, a nest made of hay and another nest made out of warm dishcloths. He also likes to sit on the heating vents when he's out. When he does, his fluffy coat blows out, a little like the Seven Year Itch, only with more bunny. He's a hoot, I tellya!
Right now the only thing getting me through the week is stuffing yarn into boxes to ship out--I've been selling more yarn this month than I did around Christmas. Weird, but I'm happy to go with it. I'm also thinking about what to grow in the garden this spring. I'm starting some seedlings in the kitchen--yes, a bit early, but if I start them now they'll be nice and fat for when I stick them outside in the windowboxes.
Plus I really should harvest the sage and whatnot in the hydroponic kitchen setup. Time for new seedlings already. Maybe a rabbit-influenced lettuce arrangement? Might not be a bad thing...
