Hair of the Dog...
Feb. 8th, 2011 06:17 amAnother friend of mine is asking if I can spin their dog's hair. Hoooboy...
Not that I'm necessarily adverse to spinning predator hair...but it's smelly, and lots of washing has to happen, and I have to mix it with something to get it to grab, all that. Just like that project with the human hair, I'm sort of amused and ooged out at the same time. But I *did* spin the human-hair scarf, didn't I?
I haven't said yes to anything yet, it's just somebody asking. And chances are the stuff will be too slippy to spin anyway, so I can say, "Nope, sorry, get a sheep and we'll talk."
At least it's a fun conversation, really...

Date: 2011-02-09 01:19 pm (UTC)I'm probably gonna pass, just because of the dog smell factor. Shamu would never forgive me.
