A few nice things from the unspeakable horror that is the Cheerful Fairy...

It's much nicer weather outside lately...sunnier,with showers. This delights me. I think it will help me kick out the last vestiges of this cold I have.

I just finished an online interview with a very nice docent at the Mines--he's talking to people who are in the staff art show (like me!) and getting some background on them. I'm very flattered by all the attention. But ummm...I haven't told him that I run the Rogue Docent Tours. I should, just for the entertainment value:)

This weekend has one of my favorite festivals, Shepherd's Harvest. I am going, and my dear friends will have to physically haul me away from the wee lambs, with me screeching and wailing,"Noooo, I want one, I'll take good care of it, why are you and the City of Minneapolis so meaaaaan to meeee?!" I will also carry home wool. Lots and lots and lots of wool.

And it's good to get away from work for a couple of days. It's been a stressful week. It's good to feel human again for a couple of days, and not have to wear all that polyester. People clothes are so good. I also retouched the stripe in my hair, and little kids really like it. This is a good thing...

So, at the moment, doing okay...
