Company coming!!!

Kevin and Cyn are coming to visit this weekend after all...time to give things a dust. It's the first time we'll meet face to face. I'm so excited,I can hardly wait. (Of couse this means I have to drag out the accordion..I told Kev about being the official Worst Acoordion Player of All Time, which is true...now I have to prove it. My poor, poor neighbors:) Sure hope they like Thai food!! (Just in case, I have extra peanut butter.)

The Gallery thing went well, my painting was well recieved. (Yay) also, My crazed friend Rob showed up with an abstracted Pin-the-tail-on-the-Donkey.
Rob is one of a kind...he wears 3 piece suits, works two jobs and makes huge abstracted animals. His last big installation was a tree full of lemurs--gorgeous sculptures made of all sorts of found objects that still looked very *real*, including lemur noises. (I made the mistake of asking him what lemurs sounded like. He *grinned* and went--"WhoooooOOOOOPPP!!! eeeeeeEEEEEEEEEPPPP!!HOOOOOOOooooooooouuu!" He's a sick, sick boy...)

Anyway, off to lunch!!!
