Gleeful puttering is gleeful...

msfledermausIt's funny...usually I'm dragging through a million and one errands and chores to get to a quiet place...
But today, ah, today I had a yarn order that needed mailing. So I figured I'd make a little shopping run out of it. Hoppity-skip I went, and before you knew it, I had mailed my order, bought new batteries and envelopes, got a haircut, bought groceries and sushi, and ended up on the Paysheo with Ben, sharing sushi and lemonade. The bunneh has been groomed, and is sitting comfortably with a new fan in front of him. There's laundry on the line outside. New yarn drying in the shower. And I don't feel frazzled at all--just happy and accomplished, sitting at the kitchen table and taking a well-deserved rest...
And maybe after a nap, I will monkey with the Secret Ostrich Project some more...
