Adjusting to Daylight Savings...slowly...

msfledermausWhy does it feel like it's harder to adjust to Daylight Savings this year? Everybody's walking around looking dazed, grumpy and confused. I am too--this morning I overslept,and I almost never do that. Happily I got where I had to go in good time, but it rattles me on the few occasions when that happens...
So I've been cheering myself up with knitting. I'm about two-thirds of my way through a big round shawl on circular needles. Since it's still being knit up, it looks like a huge Rasta hat. People come up to me and say, "Wow, that's a really big Rasta hat you're knitting there!" and I stick it on my head and tell them I'm going to have the Biggest Dreads in History...happily, everybody knows I'm lying my socks off. So there's that.
Also, I'm thinking of a new Rogue Docent tour...I want to do a Mad Tea Party. I think we *need* a Mad Tea Party. If you have a day that sounds like a good one, let me know, and I'll do my best to schedule something if I can swing it. I will definitely find somewhere to have tea after, and if fancy dress-up delights you, I think it should be done. So there's that too...
And now, time for some meditation on the couch with a book, until I feel like cooking something dinnerish...

Date: 2012-03-14 03:15 am (UTC)I need some easy knitting. I'm still finishing the never-ending afghan and then have sweaters to start, if I want to. Meh.
I would love to mad tea, but I'm booked solid until mid-april. Meh.
