msfledermausI am sore and really tired, mainlining coffee, no cream or sugar, just enough water to cool it down enough to chug.
It was worth every damn second of it:)
I think I mentioned somewhere that IIlona is a fantastic dancer? I did a couple of Keanu Reeve's "whoa"s last night...she made that Catholic Schoolgirl's outfit sing...yeah, baby!! And I had a great time running amok, covered in glitter and jumping up and down going , "Wheeee!!! Wheeee!" and introducing people to my portable flail.
Funny, though, it's much more of a meat market than I remember it--last time I went I couldn't get anyone to dance with me. (Minnesotans don't dance much as a general rule, they just stand on the sidelines bobbing their heads.) This time I literally had to beat people off with a (flail) stick...very flattering, but Jeez, where are these people coming from?
(Maybe it was all the glitter Ilona thoughtfully gave me...yeh:) I fully expect her to rub in the fact that she ISN'T WORKING TODAY, THE EVIL LITTLE TEASE!!!! She is sleeping as we speak, I bet. I will smack her knuckes, I will!
*Yaaaaaaawn...* I wuz a bad, Bad Maus...*grin*
Ms Eff, off to get some paperwork and make some more coffee...a lot more coffee...
