The thunderstorm's finally here!!! Yaaaay!

msfledermausI loooooove this. It feels so good to be cool, if somewhat damp around the ankles and whatnot. *ha=CHOO!*
...I didn't go out last night. I spent some time picking out clothes and such for the wedding this weekend, and wrapping the gift. Then I painted for a few hours. I almost finished the rose in the silver cup, and I'm half-done with the Lady of Masks painting. (the trick now is the shading and such.) I tried to read myself to sleep with a book on Surrealists (That Breton, whatta maroon!) but I didn't sleep very well.
I ended up using some lavender drops dilited with water and rubbed into my temples, and that worked eventually.
This morning the sky was as grey as sheet metal and I couldn't help skipping a bit with my umbrella like a little kid.
Ms Eff, who realized just now she still has a little bit of acrylic paint on a fingernail. Insidious stuff. Once you think you've got it all off, you see that telltale trace somewhere like an elbow:)
