More paint stuff I shuld have seen coming...

...I was prepping a couple of canvases last night, black and blue background stuff, and I got the bright idea to do some lighter blue spattering for stars and such. So I loaded my brush with diluted paint, poised it over the canvas, and tapped it with a screwdriver...usually this works very nicely except for this time:
1: the brush was too saturated, and
2: I hit it *too hard!*

The kickback was pretty damn impressive, and I caught most of it in the face and neck. (Okay, some made it to the canvas.) I mopped up the stuff that was too exuberant on the canvas and admired my new bright *blue* freckles in the mirror as I scrubbed the stuff off. I looked like I'd been attacked by a renegade Smurf.

I did finish prepping the canvases...if you call, "Giving it up for the night and reading comic books" finishing:)

Oh, BTW...Dammit, I'm, *IT!* again!!! Ilona FAXED me!!! Sneaky wench. Well, I'll fix her little red wagon, just you wait...

I was a sight, that's for sure. Blue paint everywhere. I'm grateful I was wearing an old t-shirt; it's very blued now.
