msfledermausI was getting ready for work when I saw the patchy sunlight get swallowed up by ominous dark clouds and lightning flashes. "Gee, I hope I can make it to work before the sky opens up." I thought to myself...just as the sky opened up.
I forgot my umbrella at work too...luckily I had this yellow raincoat in my closet. (Very luckily; some idiot was tearing around a corner way too fast, and hit the brakes when he saw this yellow apparition skittering across the street.)
I had to sprint for the last half-block or so, since my coat was leaking and the rain kept falling harder and harder...Many of my coworkers are in the same soggy predicament as me. (I have *no* excuse, I knew it was going to be rainy today...*siiiigh.*)
Ms Eff, with squelchy shoes. *squish squelch squish squelch*
