Stuff my coworkers and I had for lunch...
Sep. 18th, 2001 01:30 pmLemur-boy Rob: Chips from the vending machine.
Philadelphia Rob: Mysterious bright green soup from the Restaurant of the Beast that he only ate half of, some french bread, and some chips. (See Lemur-Rob.)
David: Homemade Stir-fry
Cray: Chips from the vending machine.
Me: A nice healthy bacon cheeseburger from down the street with chips,
which I ate with extra nummy noises to annoy Cray and Lemur-Rob who were picking on me. Bad, bad Maus.
Allison: A mixture of concentrated frozen orange juice and several small containers of half and half diluted with water. She said it tasted like an Orange Julius, but nobody would taste it to see.
Soooooo...what did you have, anyway? Couldn't have been any worse than that Orange-juice thing, hah?

Date: 2001-09-18 12:02 pm (UTC)My Tater Tot Casserole Recipe:
Date: 2001-09-18 12:47 pm (UTC)Spread in the bottom of a rectangular cake pan (9" x 15" or whatever it is)
Line up tater tots on top in tight little rows, or spread crinkle cut french fries over the top.
Mix Cream of Mushroom Soup in a bowl with about half the amount of water so that it is creamy and thick. Spice with a little salt and pepper if you like. Pour evenly over the top of the tater tots or the fries.
Bake uncovered for one hour in a 375 degree oven. Let it sit for about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Date: 2001-09-18 12:53 pm (UTC)(the one I was taught was much simpler: Squoosh hamburger in the bottom of the pan, pour cream of Mushroom soup over the top, stud with tater tots and bake. Pretty easy for an 11 year old to make:) I think I prefer yours.

Date: 2001-09-18 01:06 pm (UTC)I just read this to my friend (Rice Lake) and she said, "she must be from the south side of Milwaukee if she eats Tater Tot Casserole"....;-))) Now, she told me it's wonderful...but she's also the goulash queen... she's babbling about green jello, carrots and mayo....
