*Squeeeekity squeeek squeak!!*

Much better now after some prolongued meditation with my rubber ducky and a book in the bath:) (It's amazing what a big blue bath fizzy with flowers in it can fix...) Also, my friend Phill, who's been very sick for about a month is back at work; shaky but getting better. We exchanged gifts and hugs and gossip this morning, and I'm dragging him out to lunch somewhere they have chicken soup. (He's still a fragilke fleur today:)
My gift was...brace yourself!!! a "Spooky"(tm)
Squeak toy, the "Thing what Squeeks" (check out Jhonen Vasquez, creator of "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" for pictures.) It's short, it's pudgy, it's a skeleton,...with hair...sorta...and...it SQUEEEEEKS!!!!! I am now the terror of my department, the guy I've been dating will groan and cover his eys and yell, "WHYYYY?" and I am happier than any grown woman with a squeak-toy should be. *squeek squeeeeak squeakkk!!!* AAAhahahaaaa!!!*Squeek squeekitty squeeeak squeak!*

Limericks, haiku and other poetic manglings...

I get teased a lot for my bad poetry...usually off-the-cuff, groping desparately in the dark for rhymes, scansion tossed right out the window. (Unless it's haiku, for some reason) I wrote a limirick that rhymed "spooky"(my new squeak toy) with "dooky" and now Freekee's very sorry...very very sorry...Muahahahaaaa....teach HIM to say my poetry stinks!! (Well it does, but he doesn't have to SAY it!!:) Oh, and for the record, I am still the reigning Queen of the Bad Analogy, challenged only by Jon Stewart of Comedy Central...(There are many contenders, but none can beat me at the Hopelessly Bad and fairly-Pointless analogy...None, I say!!! so there!!!

anyway, just felt like today was much kinder in general, still horrifyingly busy, but help came from unexpected quarters, (was this in my horoscope? I don't check!) and everything's okay. Off to do last-minute x-mas shopping in a moment..
