Happy Birthday, Alexis!!!!

I'm going to a birthday party after work today--my friend Alexis is 30 today. (I love it when she has birthdays, because we both like a lot of the same things...She is VERY easy for me to shop for!!!) for her wedding I made hat pins, for her last birthday I made her a necklace with a little enameled fish for luck, and this year she's getting...*Ooh, hush now, it's a seeecret!!* Mmmmm...if I had sisters instead of my brother, I'd choose Alexis and Leslie over the whole wide world...Happy birthday, Sweetie!!

As for the rest of us, Happy Friday, and I am very glad this week is OVER!!!!ARRRRGH!!! DE-LETE this horrible week!!!Into the circular file!! Chase it with coffee grounds and maybe some used Kleenex!!!Gone, baby, gone, this week is gone!!!!YAAAARGH!!!

Good news on the art front:)

Over lunch I got *two* commisions for the same kind of faerie dollies I made for GlitteryPixie.
(I showed her off a bit before she went into the box, and she was very popular. *Blush*) So now I get to go shopping at Axe-Man for more glass eyes!!! *Little spastic dance of creative joy!!!*
I could use the money, too. So thanks, glitteryPixie, for asking me for a dollie; you gave me two commisions already!! (I will take pics and try to post them somewhere when they're done.)

In the spirit of Friday...

I am mixing perfect virtual drinks so people can start their weekends early. No calories, no alcohol, no guilt or shame...just pretty descriptions of odd things we drink in glasses with umbrellas and pineapple chunks garnishing the sides....

Ms Mausi, who can't drink herself right now because of the antibiotics, so she's having a sedate glass of lychee juice. (Nummlicious!)
