*Snap snap*

Rubber Gloves!!!
(I handle a lot of incoming mail where I work.)

I'm having too much fun with these...*Blows one up and waggles it around*
I just can't be trusted around latex. *snaps gloves at monitor* Eventually the novelty will wear off, but right now I want to take a big Sharpie marker and draw smiley faces on all the fingers. *snaps gloves at coworker* "I challenge you to a duel!!!" *coworker is amused.*

Anyway, I finished another doll for the show...it's one of my best so far. (It's a bipedal unicorn with an amused, smiling face.)
I still need to find time to update my website, but work has been extremely busy, and I've been too distracted to hook up with a new modem for the home beastie. Instead I've been devouring books. (One of them, by Wendy Froud and Terri Windling, has been very helpful on the sculpting front since it's illustrated by Wendy's doll figures.)

Jeez, it's hard to type with these suckers on...

Ms Eff...I think the rubberpants must be next:)

...I keep telling them that we're not a likely target, take precautions, I check the USPS website daily, have a breakdown of what to do if I get anything, etcetra...

Recently I've finished "The Gods Are Thirsty" by Tanith Lee, an account of the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror that followed from the eyes of one of it's most famous journalists; Camille Desmoulins. (He was sent to the guillotine by his old school chum, Robespierre.) Grim stuff about a grim and frightening time...but the thing that struck me, and always does, is that not even death can stifle someone worth listening to.

Why am I getting deep before anybody's even had lunch? I have no idea.

WAITAMINUTE!!!

I have peanut butter!!! And I just bought a bunch of bananas yesterday!!!

Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Meatball Hot Pocket,
Apple, birthday cookie and
some Fruitopia.

(My coworker Marie brings people cookies on her birthday..she's 94!!
She spends her retirement guarding art and chasing schoolkids around...I hope I have half that energy if I make it to 94...Happy Birthday, Marie.)

What kind of candy are you buying for Halloween?

I'm getting those little tiny Hershey bars...and a bunch of caramel apple suckers. (More often than not, my Trick-Or-Treaters are adult friends. We all seem to like caramel-apple suckers:)

Assuming I'm home..I have no idea what I'm doing for Halloween.
(Besides the usual fun spooky stuff I always do.)

Ms Eff, who will not stoop to giving out Candy-corn...I hate the stuff myself.*grin*
