I wore my fabulous Duchess Webb hat to work..it's a big big hit. I told a coworker that it was knitted for me by a friend, and he grinned and asked plaintively, "Can I be her friend too?" (I gave him her business card. *grin*)

Tonight I'm going to Gus Lucky's...they were talking about closing up because of a rent increase, but now it sounds like they may be going co-op with CreART next door. One of the owner's of Gus Lucky's is hooking up, my friend Rob is not. (He's concerned that the gallery may be too conservative
artistically for his style of work.) I'm not sure what I'll be doing...I won't know until I get to talk to some of the people involved.

...Rhymes-With-Stalker just had an altercation with a kid carving his name into an Ellsworth Kelly piece in the Garden...The Conservatory guys caught him, his class, and his teachers.(Our security's tight these days.) We made the kid cry, but didn't break his legs. We're not sure who's paying what.

The message is clear...Don't mess with Ellsworth Kelly.

Ms Eff...you know, if I was a bratty little kid again, I would have carved someone else's name instead of mine...
