You know you want...chai!!! With really good vanilla!


I have a nice basic knittin' book, courtesy of Mamichan, who naturally rocks the house. She was showing me how to perl, and a coworker said, "The Hr guy's comin'!" "Sure he is." "No, really!" So we both get panicked "Oh Shit!" looks and she's trying to finish the row as fast as she can. Of course it was too late...we was caught...*sinister music*... knitting. Happily we weren't told off for it, instead the HR guys was amused and suprised. Good thing too, otherwise we would have been forced to tie him up with vanilla worsted yarn and threatened him with really large knitting needles if he told.

Also Ben the Neighbor and I were goofing off with the digital camera, taking pictures of orchids and Saturn the kitty and a really hideous painting Ben intends to sell on E-bay. There's a couple of good pics of each of us too. (Maybe I can put them up a little later this week, with help.)

I slept better, can you tell?:)

while I teach myself to knit.

I can knit them scarves!

Intimidating
are my giant needle-things
I scare the neighbors.

Saturn-Kitty won't
stop playing with mohair yarn.
Hmmm..I knit him, too!!!

Ben admires gray scarf
with pretty black stripey bits
then asks, "Where's the cat?"

put on shoes and pack a lunch.
