Everyone's life should have a dance number...

Last night I was watching "Guru" with Heather Graham, and for most of the movie I just rolled on the floor in stitches. I particularly loved the Bollywood dance number that turned into "Grease". Memo to myself: Must put that on the List of Movies to buy...

So far the list isn't too bad..it's usually stuff I rent over and over and should just get it over with and buy. Stuff like "Razorblade Smile" "The Pillow Book' Just about every MST3K ever made, a better copy of "the Forbidden Zone" than my beat-up bootleg, various Discovery channel documentaries, all the Kevin Smith films, the Bros Quay shorts and Institute Benjamenta, the new Rob Zombie movie when it comes out, etcetra, etcetra...and of course, etcetra...

What movies do you love best? I could use some good recommendations.

That it's possible to type and knit at the same time if you coordinate well?

It's true. It helps if you have circular needles and aren't doing anything really complicated. (Which I'm not. I'm making a pillowcase in large-squares of red and black boucle yarn; very soft.)

Nono, I'm not a yarnaholic, I can stop anytime I want, no, really...

Evening List:

Wearing: Red t-shirt and black jeans. Hair up in a twist with hairsticks. Black flip-flops with skulls on them.

Eating: Grilled cheese sammitches with garlic and rosemary, and sliced up mushrooms. I make a mean cheese sammitch.

Drinking: Ice water with a little mint. Mmmm!

Listening to: Nick Cave, "Murder ballads"--I'm up to "O' Malley's bar...let's see, Mrs Richard Holmes just got shot...

Knitting: The second panel of the red-and grey-black pillowcase. *knititty knit knit knit knit*

Wishing: There was such a thing as cheap delivery sushi. And that I had a big fat bag of money. And all of you to share my sushi with. Hey, hands off the sweet shrimp! Them's MINE!!! *brandishes chopsticks*

Made-up-word for today: Multispazzing: when you have the ability to freak out at multiple problems at once.
