Nov. 24th, 2004 08:42 amI got blasted awake at about 1:30 in the morning by firetrucks...again...
For a change it wasn't the Crackstack, but one of the apartments down the street.
The news and my concierge says that someone fell asleep with a cigarette and set the bed on fire. I counted at least 5 firetrucks,2 police cars and an ambulance. (I guess there were no casualties, but someone was covered with 2nd degree burns.)
Scary scary scary...
