It's a really really nice day out....hopefully today will go fast so I can sit in the park and knit or something after workies. I just finished the tricky heel-part of the second sock I'm playing with and it's driving me mad, baby, mad mad mad!!!
(Knitting mutterings ahead, be warned...)
And another cow irker's smitten with this sock. I *have* to find a way to make stuff like this a touch more afordable labor-wise. Maybe I can borrow the Queen of Stuff's knittin' machine and experiment with it; since it's one of those cool crank-the-handle-and-a-tube-comes-out things. I think for the fair-isle stuff I'm doing I'll still have to get that by hand, and the foot shaping and whatnot....hmmm....I may have to make many, many socks and my friends will have to parade around in them to check the fit and stuff.
Or I can just make a bigger gauge pair of house socks, which would be really quick to knit and wouldn't cost the sky...
