The Return of the 24-hour Party People...
Jul. 6th, 2006 07:24 am...I got woken up again. 3 am. The jerkwads on the balcony. I called the cops again. This time the police didin't even show up, and the bastids kept the party going allllllll night long. They were doing tequila shots out of the bottle when I walked past them this morning at 7 on my way to work, dammit. One waved at me, since I was glaring daggers at them from the street, and I yelled back, "You kept me awake AGAIN last night!!" and stalked off. Not the brightest thing for me to do; now they'll know it's me calling 911 when they have parties.
(Which is apparently every week now--no use predicting the days, either. Tuesdays. Wednesdays. Weekends. Thus the moniker I use for them; they really do seem to party 24 hours a day.)
Maybe I can talk to my apartment manager about speaking to their landlord; this really can't keep going on. I can't be the only one on the block being driven nuts about this. Meanwhile, my only other strategy is to sic the cops on them every time I get blasted awake at 3, 4, 5 am... A friend of mine tells me that enough 911 calls ensures a fine for the offending property, and maybe money will talk when common civility won't.
I was kinda grouchy and out of sorts yesterday anyway. Now I am royally pissed off...and tired, dammit, so tired...
