Still tired, but hanging on...
Jul. 6th, 2006 12:58 pm...Once I'm actually working my brain gets into gear a little more easily...for which I'm very grateful. Good thing, too, since I've been Ms Bossy-pants for people on break today.
Besides, new Knitty's out...I've been having trouble trying to see the patterns though; perhaps they're giving the website a tweak or something. At least the spinning section's readable...And speaking of spinning, I forgot to mention that my friend Peat went a bit seriously nuts while visiting Europe and sent back to Ben the Neighbor...a spinning wheel. A very pretty Kromski spinning wheel, all the bits except for a couple of wheel bits and the string the cat ate. On top of this he also sent back lots and lots and LOTS of Icelandic wool. Jeepers, he musta mugged every sheep in Iceland he could find!!! The upshot: Peat would like me to teach him HOW to spin, since he's never tried it before. Ooh, this could get ugly...but maybe I can buy the wheel and wool and whatnot off him if things don't go well.
So, things to cheer me up as I walk around in circles and such...
