msfledermaus...I keep telling them that we're not a likely target, take precautions, I check the USPS website daily, have a breakdown of what to do if I get anything, etcetra...
Recently I've finished "The Gods Are Thirsty" by Tanith Lee, an account of the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror that followed from the eyes of one of it's most famous journalists; Camille Desmoulins. (He was sent to the guillotine by his old school chum, Robespierre.) Grim stuff about a grim and frightening time...but the thing that struck me, and always does, is that not even death can stifle someone worth listening to.
Why am I getting deep before anybody's even had lunch? I have no idea.
