Weekendy stuff...

msfledermausI drew and inked and drew, for practice since i'm rusty. (I'd been sculpting a lot these days, but my first love is pen and ink work. ) It's funny, but the practice with all the 3-d stuff I'd been working on has definitely helped my pen and ink stuff. I have definitely decided on restarting the zine I used to do...But I'm retiring "Goth-Mart." I'd like to call the new one Bone Circus.
I also did a lot of walking around the "hood this weekend...and did a couple of sketches of the Victorian houses I saw when I got back. (I live in an older part of Downtown, where the mansions are. Many of them are broken up for office space, but some of them are split up for lofts or apartments. *drool* And up the hill by work are the ones still privately owned...I saw one for sale...anybody got a couple of million I could borrow? I'll let you stay over in the guest rooms and give you HighTea...pretty pretty puh-leeeeease?)
I've also been worried about a sick friend...You know who you are, missy. Get better, or I'll have Miss Cleo call you 20 times a day for tarot readings...you know I'd do it too!!!!
Ms Eff, clicking on CNN every once in a while and feeling what everyone's feeling...depressed and sad and a little scared.
