Snowstorm...

msfledermaus...the flurries have escalated to a full-fledged blizzard. Everyone that can leave has already left. I'm still here at work, finally getting finished with what looks like the beginnings of a very bad week. At one point I hid in a storage room and had a quiet sobbing fit. There's too much to do for one person, and I keep getting more and more...it doesn't stop. (I keep telling myself, "Get through the week--everything settles down after x-mas" It's now my mantra--"get through the week...get through the week...")
Now I'm going home too--I'm very glad I live downtown and walk to work. It's a total mess outside, cold and frozen. I'm going to draw the hottest bath I can stand and try to relax.....
Ms Fledermaus, whose only joy right now is singing christmas carol parodies--"Open up your heart and let the Patrick Swayze x-mas in, We'll gather by the Roadhouse, with our Next of Kin..."
