Hoop hoop hoop!!!

My coworkers are amused by the hula hoop...some of them want to play with it, some of them roll their eyes and say, "Michelle, you are *such* a collector!!"
(Don't I know it.) My HR director said, "You're gonna carry that thing through Loring Park in the snow?" (C'mon, Gary, I live down the block from some of the Radical Fairies!!! I have a candy-striped tri-wheeler bicycle 3 doors down, a bicycle painted bright yellow and covered with tinsel and silk flowers, and one with a photographic website written all over it in Sharpie markers...a Hula Hoop's not gonna phase anyone!!!)

I *don't care!!!* I LIKE the damn thing, it's mine and It's big enough for me to use like a jump-rope, and that's that!!! Hmmf!!!

You have all that stuff in your neighborhood???? I wanna live there!!!!!!! I'll bring my snowglobes, my fun socks, my floaty pens, and . . . . . . whatever else I can think of. I used to have a nerf gun but I gave it away. *whine* *whine*

Yeah, my neighborhood's neat, and we get parades and cool stuff in the park and the horses-with-carriages clip-clopping through...it's just so good...

Ya, just think of all the fun I'll have playing with my kid's toys. "Awwwww, mom, you said you'd let me have it after you played with it!!!"

I gave the nerf gun to a co-worker for her son. The thing is, I had it at work and it was just tooooo tempting.

Your neighborhood sounds cool!! My neighborhood is mostly retired stick-in-the-muds, although my neighbor Sandi is incredibly cool.

Mine's hit-or-miss...lots of working women and gay couples. We're right by the park, which is good for the events and films and Shakespeare and whatnot., but bad for problems with transients. (We have a neighborhood watch for keeping an eye out for destructive people. Usually it's just drunk guys hanging out near the churches.)

And I had no trouble with the hula hoop:)
