I might be able to score some comps for Daniel Ash when he comes to town soon. Oooooohooohoooo....that would be so neat.

And, for the record, Bauhaus was a much better band than the who, Freekee...so there.*Grin*

Iiiiiii respectfully disagree with you on that one, Mausi. Tho they're really not playing the same game. :)

It's honestly kinda an unfair comparison.

I suppose...But really, I've never been a big fan of the Who. Or Jim Morrison, or Led Zepplin, or Lynerd-freakin' Skynrd!!!

*wipes tears*

I had a traumatic childhood...I was raised by bikers in the wilds of West St Paul...I heard more Skynnrd than anyone should ever have to.*sobs*

Lots of stuff...let's see...Lots of extinct 80's keyboard bands like Yello and Tangerine Dream and Devo, weird folk music like Dead Can Dance and Boiled in Lead and such.
Of course lots of Gothy stuff--Rasputina, Voltaire, Cocteau Twins, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, all the Bauhaus, some Cure, Henry Rollins, Machines of Loving Grace, Ministry, ect...some techno and electronica stuff, (I like the Chemical and Dust Brothers) a lot of rockabilly like Mojo Nixon and the Reverend Horton Heat, Einsturzende Neubauten, Michael Penn,....Well, you get the idea.

I'm just annoyed by all the stuff I had to listen to a bazillion times growing up..."Freebird" sends me into a frenzy of screaming. the Who's Rock ballad makes me roll my eyes, and Jim Morrison makes me want to throw rocks at his headstone....I am a bad maus.
