I'm a little disappointed...I kinda liked the rain. But the snow is the kind of snow-globe style stuff that I enjoy, and it's not overly cold. With my French Military coat I can pretend I'm in Dr Zhivago or something. (Okay, not the enitre epic, just the few minutes it takes to scurry to work in the snow...and the cold...and the howwwwwwling wiiiiiind....

A list:

Wearing: Black t-shirt, Black Japanese shirt I got from Ragstock, dark gray leggings, (Brr!) chocolate ankle-length skirt with some kind of white flowers on it...could be roses, could be water lilies. Big boots. Shit, forgot my earcuff. *grumble grumble*

Drinking: Vanilla tea with sugar.

Wondering: Why I'm so tired...(Okay, didn't sleep so hot last night.)

Pondering: A couple of strategies for getting time off, a family gathering I have to go to next weekend, a David Mack "Kabuki" comic I was studying last night. (Check him out; your jaws will drop at all that beauty on one page!)

Eating: A chocolate mint. *grin*

Music: "Vanadium I-ching" by Einsturzende Neubauten. (..Gelibte..*clatter of vanadium wrenches*)

What's staring me in the face right now: A gel-pen with a moo-cow on it. Mooooooooooooo........

I forget that other people think his comics are twisted and those people can't see his great storytelling devices because they're distracted by the gruesome bits.

Like when she removed the other operative's identifiable bits, and they were lying there on the floor, and she remembered her childhood where she took apart her grandfather's pocketwatch and the parts were lying around. I loved the parallel of the faces, and digits and all.

Then I had another friend who didn't care for it because the artwork didn't impress him. He said because most of it was black and white.
*rolls eyes*

I'm using my angry icon for this comment, but only because of its T-shirt.

*grin* I love me that t-shirt:)

I think David Mack is one of the finest artists and writers in comics right now.
His work impresses me on so many levels. Even his short works, like a Grendel story he did for Black White and Red. Just purely beautiful and focused.

I was reading Skin Deep, where Kabuki's in the Control Corp's institution, and how she deals with isolation and the psychological twisting around involved.
The origami friendship of Akemi was so touching...

The cows didn't mind. They kept trying to lick me, though.

A scary combination: A field of cows, a hot pink cattle marker, some japanese plum wine, a bad breakup and a Maus:)
